Sarah K. Khan has worked and researched at the crossroads of food, culture, and healing for nearly 20 years. She has expertise in nutrition, public health, biocultural diversity, ethnobotany, and sustainability. She loves looking at the world through the lens of food.

Education:
Sarah K. Khan received her AB from Smith College (1987) in History with a concentration in the Middle East and Arabic; two Masters Degrees: Public Health (with a focus on women and infants) and Human Clinical Nutrition both from Columbia University (1996, 1997); and a Ph.D. in Plant Sciences/Traditional Ecological Knowledge Systems/Botany from NYBG/CUNY Graduate School (2006).
